Suitcase Stories-The Play
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England we delivered an R&D project with professional actors and Theatre Director, Helen Tennison, using the Suitcase Stories songs and stories as a starting point. We workshopped the material through a series of online Zoom sessions and Helen also did some writing though this time. We performed some of the work through an online scratch performance to an invited audience to get feedback about the piece. We now have a workable script that can be created into a live theatre piece at a later stage. We hope to perform this in Worcestershire late 2021.
Thanks to the flexibility of Arts Council England and our other funders our monthly music sessions for older people including people living with dementia and their carers are happening online through ZOOM. A wide variety of music from folk, rock n roll, classical and drumming from the 40’s to the 70’s.
