For the last two years Arts Uplift CIC has been delivering creative training to care home staff working with the elderly and people living with dementia.
The training was commissioned by Warwickshire County Council and participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Staff feel inspired, gain new knowledge and skills and grow in confidence:

We are now delighted to share details of Get Inspired! led by professional artists specialising in Creative Writing, Arts and Crafts, Singing and Movement to Music.
Each programme lasts one day and comprises a taster session for residents in the host care home followed by training for a maximum of 12 staff members, all of whom receive a resource pack full of practical tips and ideas. At £74 per person for a fully booked session, we feel this is extremely good value. Staff from multiple care homes are welcome to attend the host venue.
Current course is in singing with Armonico Consort on 18th of March 10 AM – 3 PM at Leycester House Care Home in Warwick. Tickets are non-refundable. If we have to cancel we can refund the £74 but not the booking fee.
