Drumming Workshops
The lovely Nick and Karen Ledbury ran a great drumming workshop at Housman Court care home in January to a full house. Loads of older people got involved and was enjoyed by all.
Compton Verney lantern parade
Lantern making workshops are well under way with young people from Leamington, Shipston and Wellesbourne for Compton Verney’s lantern parade on 12 November. Artist Fran Godwin has been busy helping young people to make the animal lanterns and Lisa Broughton is also making a bespoke tawny owl as a centre piece. I can’t wait to see it! Arts Uplift has provided the artists.
Suitcase Stories
Suitcase Stories is well under way in its preparation for the first round of workshops starting on 31st October. The print is ready and people are booking on, so don’t be late as places are limited!
